Everyone has their goals, and sometime the goal can be as easy as playing video game. In other times it also can be as hard as Marathon. However I have a goal which is to transfer to Baruch college in next year, and it can be just as hard as Marathon.

I have compared a lot of colleges, and I think Baruch is a very good business school. I think choosing a college is very important to me because I do not want to spend four years learning something which have not big impact in my future. In addition, I have considered a lot of majors and i believed business is the best choice for me. Entering a good college and to get a degree will have a postive effect on me in the future.

When I was a kid, I always dream about I could work at bank. The environment in bank I feel very comfortable. There is air conditioner in summer and heat in the winter. Until now, I still dream about this. To become a banker is not only a dream, but it also relates to my future job. Choosing a job is a crucial step for the future due to I just want to do something that I am really interested in. Now it's a time to let me seize my dream.

In order to achieve my dream, I need to study hard so I can enter to Baruch which is very good at business. However, I know that it is very difficult to enter  because it requires high GPA. Even though I spend a lot of time on studying, I am not still satisfied with my GPA, especially in English course. I struggle with it all the time. Sometimes I sat in front of computer for more than one hour, and I still could not come out with any ideas. I am so afraid that I could not be eligible to go to Baruch.

               If I keep complaining or scaring instead of finding solution, I will definitely incomplete my dream. So I did plan for this semester. First of all, I will wake up 15 minutes early to make sure that I won’t be late to classes. I won’t let attendance to hurt my grade.  Secondly, I will take notes on all of my classes and pay more attention to my professors.   Furthermore, I will study before classes and review before tests. I want to make sure I can understand what the professors are talking about and remember all concepts. Finally, I will reduce the amount of time spend on games. I don’t want to delay my studies because of childish toys.

               In conclusion, it’s very difficult achieve a goal. Once we have established our goals, we should not give up so easily. We should pursue our dreams.
