Gertrude
Stein, "If I Told Him: A Completed Portrait of Picasso"
We read this poem in the
class; each person read three to four lines. Obviously, this poem is very difficult
to read. A lot of us read very “mess” on this poem. Picasso drew a picture for
Stein, and she wrote a poem for him. In the picture, we can see how is seriously
sitting on the couch. Painter uses his painting to express his inspiration.
Writer uses their writing to express their inspiration. Whatever write or paint,
they just use different skill to express their mood and thought. This poem is
good, but it’s too difficult to me to understand it.
